summery

my book is called "Rendezvous with Rama" by Arthur C. Clarke. it is a scifi book that depends on science to explain possible situations.

in the book so far as of chapter 5. we have learned that an asteroid had crashed into earth so the people built a computer to detect asteroids called the space guard.

after many years the space guard finds an asteroid that was not caught in any orbit. they named it rama

there were a few things odd with rama. like it had no light curve, it was perfectly round, hollow and was spinning really fast. they realized the asteroid was man made and sent a ship to investigate.

that is as far as i have gotten. it is an extremely difficult book to read. you have to pay attention to detail ad often the writer will spend a lot of time explaining something scientifically. i am not sure if i like that or not yet. i am waiting for the book to catch my attention.
